🚀 Rebranding with Purpose: From Donut Mart to Donut Mart Café
Earlier this month, Donut Mart debuted its newest 1,450-square-foot café-style location at 6400 Holly NE, officially setting its rebrand into motion. The evolution to Donut Mart Café is being led by Mahnoor Gauba, the third generation of the Gauba family, who’s now taking a more active role in the family business.
“It was time to grow, and we have a lot more to offer the community,” Gauba told the Albuquerque Journal.
👨👩👧 A Family Legacy of Donuts
The Gauba family has been a fixture in New Mexico’s food scene since 2010, when Razzak Gauba and his sons Haroon and Tahir transitioned from baking and delivering donuts to opening their own retail stores.
Originally from Pakistan, the Gaubas immigrated to the U.S. over 20 years ago. Their early days were spent supplying gas stations across the state with fresh donuts — a testament to their hustle and baking expertise.
Today, Haroon and his wife Qurat Gauba lead operations, while Mahnoor, fresh from graduating at the University of New Mexico, is steering the brand into the future.

The Donut Mart Café concept builds on the original donut shop roots while expanding into a more modern café experience.

- Matcha lattes and specialty drinks

This expanded menu is designed to appeal to a broader customer base, encouraging repeat visits at all times of the day.
📍 New Locations and Remodels Underway
The new café at 6400 Holly NE is just the beginning. A second Donut Mart Café at 6121 Paradise NW is currently under renovation and is slated to open July 2025.
Additionally, all existing Donut Mart stores across Albuquerque are expected to be remodeled to reflect the new Donut Mart Café branding and experience.

- 9 p.m. Sunday–Thursday
- 10 p.m. Friday & Saturday
